It's time to go on holiday and visit Betty Ford's.

BT fixed the ISDN, and Zen achieved a miracle of blagging and got BT to switch on our DSL this morning instead of next Wednesday. (It's not just the static IP, it's this sort of thing I pay five or ten quid a month over the going rate for.)

Betty Ford Clinic was utterly lovely. Ill-attended, so show up next month or clockworkwasp will eat you. (I think people seriously believed Dreadnought was dead dead dead.) I got some purty pics. Special love to eyeliner297 and to spikeylady, who is just utterly dazzling at all times. It was utterly wonderful to see duranorak out and dancing, even at the expense of her back. (Here's to corsets.) I spent all night telling people I'd be forty on Monday.

Being a skanky ho', I got home around 12:30pm. But going out and partying with the goths leaves me full of bouncy party crack, so I came in, snogged the girls, saw them off to go shopping and played 3D Tetris like a good houseboy. Three hours' productive labours and my back hates me; I am on the couch in the telly room recovering before I make dinner. We are then off to fluffymark's thirtieth, for which I give him this icon. Suitable pictures to use as bases for a replacement are needed.

The end of dreadnaught was far better advertised than the start of Betty Ford Clinic. I actually didn't go to the last dreadnaught as it clashed and I thought "I'd rather not know it was a great club if I'll not be able to go again". If I'd known it was just changing a few minor details such as name I might have gone - and might have found out a little sooner about BFC. Oh well, I might give it a try sometime.
