Day 5 of labour, and I ran out of adrenalin some time ago. Labour still progresses sloooooowly. Waters not broken, mucus plug appears to be entirely clear, contractions now strong enough to grab Arkady's attention. Freda still kicking happily in time to music and so forth, so apparently not in distress. TRALALALALA. I shall attempt to sleep tonight.

May 12th wouldn't be too bad, either - one of my best friends has his birthday then, and he's nicknamed "graveyard" for a reason ;)

The 12th is my dad's birthday, funnily enough. But given her "due" date is the 13th....

Gah. I really don't want to be stuck in labour until next Saturday. If she's not here by Thursday then to hell with it - I'll be reaching for the castor oil!
