Called the doctor, was told it sounded like flu so he should call me, he called me, spoke to me for a few minutes then told me to come in and has signed me off work until next Monday and prescribed a Shock and Awe campaign of steroids to make my lungs feel better, by which time the virus should have buggered off. About bloody time. Testicles shrinking to basketballs, excess mass gone to Hulk-like mass. RAAAAGE cough splutter. Cat somewhat disconcerted.

nyecamden came over Monday and cleaned our kitchen. We got a wonderfully clean kitchen and he got a wonderfully filthy kitchen to clean! The house no longer looks actually septic.

arkady is watching Interview With The Vampire on her laptop next to me. In German, as that's the soundtrack AcidRip picked to put on the rip (her laptop has no DVD player). Thankfully she knows the story and enough German for this to be a refresher.

Vampire movies in German seems a little more appropriate (though obviously best in some Slavic tongue).
