I have a cold. Everyone else in the house has had it first. arkady has also been ill for the past few days, so I've pumped myself full of drugs and been MAN Man. Who appears to be the superhero with the powers of a domestic suburban father.

Freda likes fireworks out the window but was frightened by the noise in the street and doesn't like being outside with them at all. Boooo.

Sorry to hear you don't feel well. And poor kitty! Most cats hate fireworks; it's a pretty standard part of their personalities.

It was strangely quiet here this weekend in Lanzarote, with only a few small fireworks going off nearby. Maybe all the British ex-pats have moved on somewhere else!
