If I wanted weather like this, I'd have stayed in Australia. I'm trying to remember what I used to do on Saturday afternoons of this sort.

We have booked the wedding: Saturday 12th July, 11:30am, in Walthamstow. If you haven't already indicated an intention to attend, get cracking - the list is filling rapidly (we can cram about thirty to forty into the room). Though we intend to colonise a pub afterwards, so if you're too late you would still be eagerly welcomed there. (And given it's the morning after a B-Movie, it's entirely all right if that's when we see you.) Check the gift registry (and the Be Nice To Liz List).

I haven't been posting much because I haven't been doing much. I may start posting old stuff I still find amusing at some point.

[livejournal.com profile] reddragdiva, meet [livejournal.com profile] bohemiancoast, [livejournal.com profile] miramon, [livejournal.com profile] drplokta and the rest of the [livejournal.com profile] ploktacabal....

Weddingness - I'd like to come to the pub afterwards, if that's ok?

An interesting question... I suspect that it still is, as I am not married to either of you, but the rules areound such things are complex!

And, I suppose I could do... But I would rather be wearing something else as well...

Indeed. They're only a hop or two off your friends list in more ways than one.

Stay in your room, with the fan on, recovering from the previous night's hangover, reading newsgroups...not much has changed then ;-P

Can't wait to see the right-wing American bloggers' justifications for this one. (They all seem remarkably quiet on the subject.)

Terrifying.
But then, I'm not a right-wing American. Ei-leen to the left. :)

Congratuations. I would send an Aussie fanzine as a gift, if print zines did not all relentlessly suck, and I would send an actual requested gift if I wasn't being paid in Australian pesos. Um... it's the thought that counts?

At any rate I will make sure I get ratarsed on your behalf.
