Today we journeyed to Amersham, at the very end of the Metropolitan Line, for a family visit. It took two and a half hours each way. The food was good and the company was marvellous. I didn't meet this bit of the family until last year; it's quite a shock to discover I have cool family members who can make a decent showing in combat rocknerdery with redcountess and myself. Roast was good too.
