She ended up perfect ginger, except the bleach-yellow roots. Applied another dose of bleach today and it didn't change a thing except making the roots lighter.
*laughs* Remember when I did exactly the same thing, before I cut it all short? The difference being, I suppose, that I really liked the ginger and have since considered dying my hair black again to bleach it right away as they don't seem to do dye in quite that colour...
