I'm in St. Albans this evening. redcountess is a lot better, so, in a change from looking after a sick person, I'm looking after a sick person. arkady is resembling a drowned rat with pink hair. It is wonderful to see her again.

Today I encountered the most comprehensively fucked abortion of a dot-com concept I've seen in years. This is 2004, not 1998; but bad ideas concocted by marketers down the pub on a Tuesday afternoon will always involve getting someone else to pay for their cocaine. This idea will not in fact be the saviour of underemployed London freelancers. But I know an organisation that will ride their forthcoming expensive publicity for all it's worth. Can you tell what it is yet?

Note: I'll probably stop at the Dev on the way home tomorrow afternoon. valkyriekaren, I have your cloves. Anyone else likely to show? When?
