Wikipedia meet!

There is a prospective Wikipedia meet Tuesday week, 31st August, at 7pm (earlier times on that page are BBC staff only). They don't have a venue yet. From NTK:

And on the subject of last-minute changes: Wikipedia founder JIMMY WALES is coming to the UK next Tuesday (2004-08-31), and would like to speak to any audience who'll have him in London that evening. Venue details are a little scarce at the moment because the "organisers" are actively still looking for one, though we're entirely confident that something will happen because they have, of course, already set up a wiki.

I forget the name, but that pub where there was a BOFHnet meet, one of the first times I met you and the first time I met nou and kissed you - it has a downstairs bit and serves decent beer. Perhaps they could book the downstairs bit.
I'm somewhat likely to attend.

I'm thinking of the one there was a bunch of BOFHs went for a pint a few hundred metres from Angel station. Good space, WiFi, quiet on a Tuesday. Now WHERE THE HELL WAS IT?!

It was very nice :-) Liz and Arkady agree that it was more something for people who had never heard of the project. Though the question session afterwards was more suitable for Wikipedians.
