It's a lovely quiet Easter Sunday. Liz is ill with the tail end of the virus we brought over, and feverish and unable to go anywhere and getting some forced relaxation. I'm scanning lots of old photos she grabbed from her mum's place. She's going through a pile of her mum's old photos looking for ones for me to scan. We were supposed to go out visiting this afternoon, but she's in no fit state to go anywhere.

Everything in Melbourne (and in Australia in general) is built to a bigger scale. England is very cramped.

So. I shall have to reconstruct Melbourne in London! Things to do:

1. More space. At least for us.
2. Clean the air. That one'll be fun.
3. Make the English relax a bit. That'll be a tricky one.
4. Get lots of postwar Italians to move to London from the 1940s to the 1960s, so as to improve the food.

We visited Liz's mother and brother yesterday. We're speaking seriously of how to afford bringing Coco over, or even back with us when we return. If you think of it as a really big vet bill ...

Went out yesterday evening and saw a bunch of goths, for andricongirl and sharplittlteeth's anniversary drinkies at Polly. Lovely catchup and lots of pics on the spy camera.

Just went down the pub with genkigrrl and Chris Jones. We caught up on far too much Perth gossip.

Liz is watching Legally Blonde and enjoying it very much. hestia also stopped by earlier. I got a lovely picture of her holding her skirt over her face.
