Just in after more dentishry. For the first time in twenty-five years, I don't have a grey front tooth. Here's to vanity! I will now grin in photos. Ph3ar.

These (both front teeth) are temporary caps — I have been warned not to eat curry, because it will stain them. The permanent ones are off being made, and I'll get them put on Thursday fortnight.

Sunday the three of us went to Cambridge for mikewd's tea party. Hi to bellinghman and bellinghwoman for the expected BOFH-babble ("I knew it was time to quit when I had a nightmare about the internal structure of Windows NT") and feanelwa, who was looking remarkably healthy and coped quite well with a sudden attack of cake-eating three-year-old. Hi also to apiphile, who we bumped into at the station.

Tonight I do housework and/or DIY. A date with arkady is likely Wednesday or Thursday; Friday to Sunday is redcountess'.

I have a theory (which is mine) that the so-called "IRA" bombings were done by foxes. They worked hard for all bins to be removed from London, so that the British would be trained to be litterbugs and there would be plenty of rubbish for the foxes to eat. They've already taken over the suburbs; when you see foxes in Oxford Street, you'll know they've won.
