Over the weekend we went to Derbyshire for tals' funeral and wake. Full writeup to follow. I spent yesterday in bed utterly drained. Tonight's cleaning frenzy is going to be special.

redcountess got the G4 to triple-boot Mac OS X, Mac OS 9 and Ubuntu. I am pleased to report that the Epson RX620 photo printer works flawlessly under Ubuntu. I like this toy more and more. Liz also scored an ADC-to-DVI connector on eBay, so we can plug in the Mac and the Windows FreeBSD 6 box.

My new boots should be in by now, just in time for this Friday's B-Movie (and arkady has what will become a Christine dress!), as should my relined leather jacket. I really ought to give Future Designs a call.

And we're going mad with photos! New to the web is childeric's birthday set ... from 2003. (Ahem.) Yell if a photo of you therein causes actual physical projectile vomiting. The B-Movie March 2003 set, with sarcaustik's Weapons of Mass Distraction, is back on air. If you object to any pics therein, too bad as they were up on velvet.net for two years! I would like to mark this pic of Mog and Eris as my very favourite of this set.

arkady came around this afternoon and did most of the house cleaning. I think I owe her my soul (again).
