Zzz splat. redcountess is particularly unwell this evening, so I'm missing both karen2205's going-away do and Dreadnought. As such, I'm taking the opportunity to feel utterly exhausted.

The search for the next gig continues apace. I have an interview booked for next Wednesday morning at a nu meeja company in the city. The website is entirely in Flash; if you don't have Flash, it lectures you on why you should.

Tomorrow is the first official meeting of Wikimedia UK. After the last few, I have suggested we hold it standing, outside, in the snow if applicable, while I blow smoke at everyone. That should focus people's attention nicely. Next Thursday I record a BBC radio interview.

This 560X is the little laptop that couldn't quite. It can just about play MP3s on the way to work, though it has trouble playing solitaire at the same time. I was going to Debian or Ubuntu it, but I think I gave away all my working floppy drives with the others, and it's far too senile to boot from CD or USB. We got sniped on a replacement N410c system board on eBay, but I was cheered to see a full working machine go for £150.
