Aug. 30th, 2006 03:22 pmWell, darn — Pokémon is important after all. Or popular, at least. Those statistics are very rough indeed (note the error margins), but it's a nice new toy. We used to have somewhat more accurate zeitgeist listings, but they were hand-maintained and haven't been updated in two years.
Mind you, we have a way to go.
We've had some blitheringly stupid press of late, which has been fantastically instructive in how the press take a weird version of events and run with it. I just drafted this and will be sending it to the needy.
