Beer and sticks and rock and roll.

I made up for the lack of BiCon in my life by visiting ali_anarres and daneel_olivaw's place and drinking nice beer and eating nice pizza and playing a silly unstable sticks game best played when drunk with them and hazyjayne. I fascinated all present with endless tales of how wonderful, gorgeous and beautiful my baby daughter is; I thought for a few moments that Sarah was recoiling in horror and boredom at detailed talk of small children, but of course that's not possible so I must have been imagining it. A thoroughly lovely evening, a collapse in the spare room and I wasn't even horrendously hung over.

Cheers also to Sarah for her surplus PowerBook charger, though the connection's still playing up and I'm now suspecting the socket rather than the original charger. Still, redcountess should be pleasantly surprised.

This afternoon and evening I have been pottering about doing housework in a desultory fashion and continuing to listen to fifteen thousand songs on shuffle. Tomorrow I'm back at work. Bah.
