A state of trance.

There are non-stupid Republicans out there, I'm sure. Could you please do something about the morons? Thanks ever so much.
NewsTechnica: Microsoft phases out support for Netscape 4, so there; Bank of England shocked to discover that just printing money doesn’t work very well.
I suspect I am ill again, which sucks. Manflu, whinge. Well enough for work, but not for fun. Apparently Vagabonds was really good Saturday night. Bah!
I'm entertaining myself with minor household pottering and geeky pursuits (my laptop may have a case and screen built from cheese and string, but it's otherwise quite a beast): regression testing Wine On Windows and attempting to build X11 from source. (Faff central: just the build tool required 300MB of apt-get.) Evidently, approximately no-one actually builds X from source — 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Try it yourself. I'm trying it in FreeBSD 8.0 (in a VirtualBox) as well.
Tomorrow (today) I suspect I shall be working from home again. This is not as cool as it should be, because I do in fact have to work. And I get no exercise whatsoever when I do, which means doing it a lot will turn me into a blobfish.
