Three blind mice.
Oct. 8th, 2010 05:50 pmA week of frazzle from home. arkady's chronic migraine was augmented by a stomach bug or flu or something, but she is somewhat better today. Freda is tremendously enjoying having Daddy home lots. I'm sure I'll be free to leave the house again one day before I die. The house is a bit of a dismal pit, but the girls cooked a lovely dinner last night.
Got a full ZFS partition and getting "not removed: No space left on device" when you try to run rm? (That's right: when a zpool gets too full, rm stops working.) Instead, find or make a zero-byte file (e.g., touch /tmp/foo and then cp /tmp/foo /path/to/huge file, or something like find . -mtime +60 exec cp /tmp/foo {} \; , to clear enough space for rm to work again. (If even truncating fails, there are other scurvy tricks.)
(It would be nice if CruiseControl cleared its own artifacts directory. Thirty gig of crap going back six months removed!)
