Rocknerd: I have considered this deeply for twenty-five years, and have evolved the opinion: first-world artists who complain of piracy are whiny overprivileged little turds who need to just shut the fuck up.
People will do most things you tell them. It's disconcerting to realise just how easy it is to accumulate followers — even from those who'd make quite good leaders themselves — just by telling people what to do and looking vaguely like you know where you're going. This is some sort of human universal. It took me until my mid-twenties to realise there were ways to interact with people other than telling them to do things. Freda hasn't realised yet.
Of course, you're argumentative sods. But outside this context, I suspect you're shockingly easy to push around. Observing the evidence, I certainly appear to be.
