I have Dreamwidth account codes, for anyone who wants a journal host that actually, um, works. Importing (though DreamWidth ask you to wait until after the DDOS) and auto-crossposting work pretty much flawlessly these days. Email me at dgerard@gmail.com.
Today, ( this package arrived. )
The Windows software appears to install relatively flawlessly in Wine, too. Which surprised and pleased me. Update: No it doesn't. Not until .NET 3.5 installs and runs properly. Even then, firmware upgrades will require a non-virtual Windows box.
I have a half-smart phone. It is a Blackberry Curve 9300 and it does webby stuff and wifi and 3G and and and I ... like it. God help me. I'm getting tips for suitable apps from arkady, who has an 8900 (which is pretty much the same without 3G). The camera is nowhere near as good as the 8900, which is a bit annoying. The music player does MP3, Ogg, AAC, WMA and FLAC, which not even cheap Chinese S1 MP3s manage. It's slightly annoying that it only takes a microphone headphone plug, not a standard stereo 3.5mm, though understandable. The included headphones aren't great but they aren't awful.
SHINY CRACK THING. MINE!
