arkady's girlie rat Andromeda died on the operating table this morning — metastasised cancer.
Cabin fever is creeping up on us. I suspect HomeLet were dragging their heels, as Liz pinging the agent about the reference checking suddenly generated an email to my HR person. We'd better be able to move this weekend. I've booked Friday and Monday off.
This means I need to get a lot achieved at work before then, so I don't have twice the pile of crap on my desk Tuesday. I got two NetApp clusters to snapmirror, to fail over properly and to not take out the Oracle instance using their file shares. This afternoon I installed some HP monitoring rubbish on one of the Oracle servers in question. Next up is some Veritas cluster rubbish and a homegrown monitoring script. And getting the rest of the monitoring on the Oracle server working.
I suspect I'll need another holiday after this. redcountess and arkady could do with holidays too.
