It's been a quiet few days in. [livejournal.com profile] redcountess hasn't been well, and I've been feeling quite buggered actually, so we've been doing a lot of sitting around online with desultory housework. I owe [livejournal.com profile] theevilchemist a call while he's in town, though.

The ratty boys both have sores on their bellies — burst abscesses, looks like. We'll be seeing the vet at 4:30.

I have a container of purple pound shop mirror ball Christmas tree baubles on the table. What to do with them?

Update: The boys are fine. The vet gave 'em a good grope and says they don't have any odd lumps or untoward squeaks of pain, so we're just giving them preventative amoxycillin and cleaning the wounds twice daily. They've decided they're not too happy with me, though.

"Remember, there's no 'I' in 'team'!"

To which, the traditional response in a place I used to work was: "Yeah, and there's no 'f'-in way..."

[BTW, I love the response given in the /. post...one to be remembered and rolled-out when appropriate.]

What to do with them?

Depends. Do you also have a shotgun?

How about a hammer?

I already have my NYE outfit planned, dahling. Besides, I think it would be much, er, easier for a boy to wear...

Oooh gimme! I think they would look lovely in a hat. Or something. (Actually I have tons of em myself in silver, we once left the Xmas tree up for two entire years.)

But more seriously, canopy bed + mirror balls = happy

Make a small and easily breakable beanbag?

Y'know, that thing in the bad sex forum is what I call a Roman chair. Never associated it with pleasure - except for *knowing* absolutely that my abs are getting a hell of a workout with it...

There is no I in "TEAM", but there's certainly a "ME" available.

I got the same thing off my sister as a christmas present!! Except mine are all different colours

I pointed out that they are christmas decorations and she denied it heatedly and then said "Well you are the kind of wierd person who could hang them off that goth bed of yours"

I despair. So if you think of anything I could do with mine, let me know!!

There isn't enough room, there's enough, um, stuff, hanging off it already! Non of which was bought for me by my awful sibling!

I think I may do somethin Blue Peter-y with a coat hanger and a lampshade. I've been in this room for 8 months and still have a bare bulb!
