It goes up to ISO 12800. The quality is not great, but the fact of the pictures even existing is.

ISO 3200 is nice to have l-) I have 12800 as well but ouch, the noise, even before anyone starts pixel-peeping (http://www.greenend.org.uk/rjk/gallery/photos/2009/08-23?display=3362.jpg).

Aye, when I got mine I thought "why on earth hide 6400 and 12800 behind a custom funct--oh, I see". Although to be fair, it's not too much worse than my previous one would do at 1600!
