I think that last post sets a new record for comments per word.

Today has mostly been concerned with the wonderful world of plumbing. I got to bed around three last night after spending quite some time trying to unblock the toilet. Thankfully it only took several calls to the agent to get someone round to unblock the fucker (secret of success: a bigger plunger!) while all tried to make out it was our fault for using the toilet as a toilet ... never mind that the toilet was actually moved during the renovations prior to our moving in, and the plumber observed it failing to properly flush a single sheet of toilet paper the first time.

Phone interview this morning with HR droid. Also a followup to Friday's HR droid interview, where it looks like I'll miss a job they otherwise love me for because I can't do heavy lifting (i.e., putting stuff in racks). Never mind.

I am so ridiculously tired.

Saturday evening was the last night of Jerry Springer — The Opera, a marvellous production that actually makes Jerry Springer into a sympathetic character. [livejournal.com profile] redcountess actually made it out to play!

Sunday, Liz was too ill from Saturday, so [livejournal.com profile] arkady and I went for *pint*age at the Porterhouse, with attendees [livejournal.com profile] mjg59, [livejournal.com profile] hairyears, [livejournal.com profile] weds, [livejournal.com profile] damerell, [livejournal.com profile] kineticfactory, [livejournal.com profile] gmh and [livejournal.com profile] clanwilliam. (I fear all the goths had been taken out of the running by [livejournal.com profile] gothbabe and [livejournal.com profile] childeric's functions the night before.) I got pished and Nile got photos.

My birthday haul was Jerry Springer tickets from Liz, some drinking tumblers from Arkady and Xenu being made Featured Article of the Day on Wikipedia.
