> GET UP

It is cold and dark. If you continue, you are likely to be eaten by a job.

> GET DRESSED

The job sees you!

> EAT BREAKFAST

The job has eaten you. Game over.

It's 5:38am. You know what they say: there's no such time as the present.

My brother telephoned the other day around 7PM, and expressed a little shock when I told him that I was starting to think about going out to lunch. I'm on the 'show up when you feel like it' plan. Work and I, we have an agreement: I do at least 40 hours of quality work a week, and they don't give me shit about spending ten hours in the office to do eight hours worth of work and two hours of fucking off, or not showing up until late afternoon some days. This is the second such job I've had, which means that I haven't had an earthly need for an alarm clock in going on six years now. I heartily recommend it.

So I got the goods, but it's going to be hard figuring out where to find me ... have you seen my schedule?

Bwahaa. Not even I tend to be awake at that hour. Unless, of course, Her Queenness Smoke has decided that she's been fed never before and NOW is the best time to rectify this two-leg error. But even then, I usually go "shut up" and fall asleep. At the much less ungodly hour of 06:38, I usually can be found in front of my workstation, writing code.

It is cold and dark. If you continue, you are likely to be eaten by a job.

> GET UP AND GET DRESSED

The job sees you!

> WIELD CONTRACT

The job looks nervous.

> EXAMINE CONTRACT

The hourly rate charged to the client is high.

> HIT JOB WITH CONTRACT

The job looks poorer. Your pockets jingle.

It was starting to get light by 6am. Bear in mind the Autumn Equinox is only about 3 weeks away now.

You may have noticed that Tom feels 6:30should be breakfast anyway, despite the factI havent had to get up at stupid o'clock for work in nearly a year.

6:30am appears to be cat breakfast time.
