Last night, [livejournal.com profile] redcountess, [livejournal.com profile] arkady and I went to [livejournal.com profile] sparklielizard and [livejournal.com profile] stevenothing's London wedding celebration: dinner at Thai Silk near Waterloo — rushed service, but excellent food, and the Five-To-Seven set menu is great value — and then a drink at the Paper Moon. (Under New Management — they saw all the goths and put the Evanescence album on.) Met [livejournal.com profile] commonpeople at last and we were sorry we couldn't stay longer! Liz was utterly sodomised by the walk from the restaurant to the pub (we should have grabbed a minicab), but we stayed for one drink. Liz's K750i does amazingly well in low light (uploading now) — I shall have to give it a go next B-Movie.

Today had all manner of things planned and we might even get any of them done. Liz is *splat* after an exhausting day and a sleepless night. Arkady is still asleep with strict instructions to let her wake up in her own time. I'm full of crack as usual. It's lovely and sunny, so we might get some gardening done. Arkady and I have some plans to hit the Dev later.

Update: I have just bought a hundred icons. ph3ar. Gardening, reception and rattie pics up now. The K750i has fantastic automatic colour balance and an actual lens, but a crappy CMOS sensor, so the daylight pics are good but the indoor ones have badly visible lines across them. Ah well.

Does the K750i work better in low light than your Casio Exilim? Is its image quality much less craptacular than cameraphones in general?

The photos have a few lines across them, but they're a lot better than I would have got from my Motorola V525, however, that only only has about a third of the resolution.

Sorry I missed meeting you on Friday night!

I'm already at my new limit of 100. And still I want more.

Ah. Maybe they'll get it right with the Nokia N70 (the one recently advertised in the Economist with an ad with a photo print, allegedly taken with one, stuck to it).

Likewise; maybe another time? Though I recall we did meet briefly at a Dorkbot.

I'm sure there must be.
