Obligatory kitaen minutiae post.

I just let Tom in. He was jumping up on the door, hanging from the crossbar as he does. I opened it. He saw a kitten, ran off and sat on the concrete bunker a few feet away facing away from me! I picked him up and brought him in and cuddled him a bit. He didn't purr but he did nose me a bit. He's now eating tasty senior cat biscuits on the TV. (It has no vents on the top, so it's safe for him to sleep on. I put his bowl up there so the kitaens won't bug him when he's eating and Madam can't pinch his biscuits.)

Neo did a great cat trick today. I got home, went to the toilet and shut the door. Neo needed to poo, so he sat outside the door meowing for a bit. I was still in there ... so he knocked over the open bag of cat litter in the hall and pooped in there! Good kitten! If a cat's going to poop somewhere it shouldn't, I like it to show some clue in picking where ...

redcountess is thoroughly sick of poo, in all its manifestations (cats, rats, me, her ...). We're calling it a trial run for children.

Hey, at least I haven't started LiveJournals for the cats. (And nor will you, arkady!)

Update: I bought this tonight. I desperately hope it's here in time for B-Movie.

I don't know what it is with cats! They have the most amazing bladders when it comes to long journeys like plane journeys, and I'm sure they do the sort of thing that Neo did *on purpose*.... little gits. Lugosi did something similar to me once as I was cleaning the cat loo. I had already cleaned and dried the bowl, but was still washing the hood of the loo, so he sat in the bottom bit of the bowl and peed in it. And there wasn't any catlitter in it yet!

Children? CHILDREN? I hope you don't mean that. Argggggggggggh! *runs*

See, the thing is, that cats *can* do these things if they wanted to, but they know that we are their servants and that we do it for them anyway.... so why do it in the first place? Cats have *us* to do these things. ;)

I hate house training pets..reminds me why in a way I am glad we rent a house that does not allow them:) At least babies wear nappies.
