Live in a mud hut.

Reptile pics. It's apparently been running for years, but somehow I'd completely missed its existence. The venue is amazingly good. The smoke machine is set to stun. The beer garden is excellent to hang out in. They sell real ale if you know to ask for it (they fetch the pint from the other bar). A jolly good night out. I will be back.

Did the first 90% of my packing last night, will start on the second 90% shortly. Flying out from Gatwick at around 6:30pm, arriving in Perth very early Wednesday morning. In Perth until 6am the following Wednesday, arriving in London Wednesday evening. I will be on dialup, in Jandakot, in 35°C heat. YAY!

I will seriously miss Freda.

To do: Shower. Pack toiletries. Copy 60 gig of crap to laptop (nearing an hour over USB at 20MB/sec). Organise stuff for carry-on. Find and buy a Killer Sudoku book for the plane and the current Metal Hammer for [personal profile] redcountess. But first ... coffee.

I can live without the Metal Hammer, seriously :)

Reptile is a hoot. It's the only goth type thing in London I still semi-regularly attend.

They did a whole little one-day free festival down here in Colliers Wood in late summer last year. It was terrific.

I've been to Reptile a few times. Aster13, whose DW name I don't know, mentioned it.
