A Nice Night Down The Dev with [livejournal.com profile] arkady last night. My goodness it was quiet. (So no pics.) Tonight and Thursday I do nice home-type stuff. Friday, Bauhaus!

And how have you been today?

OMFG, some of that stuff sounds too awful (and painful, and abysmally stupid) to be true. Except I've known people who worked in A&E and have similar stories.

I'll try and remember to stay away from 'some dude' and 'that bitch...'

And how have you been today?

Tired and grumpy. Why is it so many people are idiots?

*sigh*

You know, that one with the razor blades was about the only one that wasn't all too familiar from Karens work stories.
Though the one with the prosthetic eye was pretty special.

The mobiles story: try here - http://www.guardian.co.uk/g2/story/0,,1699080,00.html

It's the original. In cases like this where you know the archive will remain, free of access to all, it's always best to post the original.

Says the woman who's TOSed one site and threatened another on her work, which makes me a big INTARNET EVUL!

You'd think that dickwads who play loud dance music in their cars could be slapped with an ASBO. At least I play loud *classical* music[1] in my car. Which is, of course, an entirely different matter.

I also don't have a 3billion watt stereo and seven bass cannons that I overdrive massively to really wreck the reproduction and make the music sound *even worse*.

[1] I thought driving to Motorhead made me a nutter until I tried driving to Sex Gang Children. Those random beat changes just make you psychotic. After that it's strictly "relaxing classics" and "classical chill out". I've never seen my wife look so scared :)

STL speaker ban: That rocks. I'm telling my parents, who still live there. (Now that I'm in pa.us, I'm forced to scrounge around the apartment for things, the sloppier the better, to throw through the open sun rooves of these idiots when the park and walk away in front of my apartment.)

GOLD! I tell you.

But, as Dave's pointed out, the stories are all too familiar. *sigh*

You're okay with Wagner as well. You might end up going way over the speed-limit during particularly stirring passages, but based on legal precedence the judge will let you off, because he likes Wagner too. Sad but true...
