Most pointful remake evah. I eagerly await the movie version of Legend of Zelda. (They already did Space Invaders.) And I can't wait to see how they tackle the love interest in the movie version of Tetris.

I blame [livejournal.com profile] baralier.

Edit: I'm now picturing a Moscow winter's day. Cold, snow, sunlight. Two games programmers, a bottle of vodka and a whole lot of Russian angst.

We're awaiting the Clash of the Titans remake with a certain amount of fascination, as well. Supposed to be "darker and more realistic". Um.

They're redoing Clash of the Titans? Dear gods no!

Makes me want to visit Hollywood with a couple of hundred bodybags for all the movie suits.

Well I'm pretty sure I heard in one of those late night TV adds for downloadable stuff for mobiles phones them advertising a game called "Strip Tetris"...

So anything is possible ;-)

Why, oh, why did they remake a movie whose original was so dumb? I feel like part of my life has been taken away from me just for knowing that it exists, though I've never seen it and don't plan to.
