The dollie picnic was marvellous fun. [livejournal.com profile] redcountess made it out! I pretty much had to drag her out bodily ...

Dollie nuts; [livejournal.com profile] lucybond; Liz; all the dollies.

It was also particularly wonderful to see [livejournal.com profile] ashbet; I think I took nearly as many pics of her as I did of dollies and the other owners. I also 0wnz0r3d her.

The streets were deserted on the way home — I understand England scored quite a few wickets against the Ecuadorean XI in yesterday's Ashes match in Prussia.

[livejournal.com profile] arkady and I went to meet Ashbet, [livejournal.com profile] cavalorn and [livejournal.com profile] lucybond at the Dev in the evening. I took even more pictures, just about filling a card (again). I'm getting severe disk space problems. It's entirely worth it, of course.

Bessht mate, mate, yessh you are; Arkady the killer special effect from outer cyberspace; I get the sxxy deth chyx.

I saw Arkady off to Wales this morning. A week without her! And with her new cat, of course. I'll train him to say "herrr-rrroww?" In between looking for work and catching up on the housework.

The dolls are cool. All small and well dressed. None of the babydoll types.

Yup, it was a fab day. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it was great to finally put faces to names. Steve, my beloved hubby, thought the bigger dolls were true works of art. He was quite taken with them. Poor him, as I'm only interested in the tinies, but I do have a 39" tall girl at home so that keeps him happy. Now if she was a BJD she'd be really fun to dress, but she's only partially posable.
Looks like you had a great evening, too. We just crashed watching Dr Who and eating a scrumptious steak dinner. I married a good cook.
