I slept fitfully for a few hours suffering from purring cats and a film of sweat that just wouldn't go away and gave up at 5:30am. Praying for rain. I just fetched arkady from Paddington:

It's about a zillion degrees out and a zillion percent humidity. Dinner will be takeaway ice cubes, I think.
