I was supposed to leave the house and be sociable today, but a job interview in Hounslow did for that. Interesting job, though — a couple of months' contract helping move a huge pile of customer services from servers in Hounslow to servers in Basildon and Hemel without the customers seeing any outage. My shoes are not killing my feet quite as much, but I'm still exhausted.
I am also diving into more actively being a sysadmin on wefixtech.co.uk, the host for reddragdiva.co.uk, redcountess.co.uk, arkady.org.uk and ... davidgerard.co.uk, which is working at last and contains a really boring page of links! I should put a photo on it some time. Probably me in a suit.
(cPanel is so fucked up. It may be Perl, but it's proprietary software and acts like it.)
Kyneston went to the vet today for his boosters and met The Lovely Clare, who
princesssulky had gossiped about our new cat to. Goodness!
I have a pile of photos to show you but not the energy to put them on an LJ entry. In fact I'll probably go to sleep soon. But first, here's Kyneston happily playing cat chess with Madam and Tom:
Madam, Kyneston and Tom. Neo was asleep inside.

It's a lot of work, though.
