Tonight is B-Movie. redcountess is very unwell so is unlikely to make Rocky Horror or this. arkady has been Told to go to Rocky at least. I will make B-Movie if Liz is not too unwell to leave.

And now, the week in photos!

Sunday: The Oakdale Arms by day, abigailb to one side, and two half pints of beer. She's just moved to London so we went down the pub. I confused the new barmaid terribly by asking for "a half pint of anything, doesn't matter, I trust the beer here."

Tuesday Monday: wendolen was visiting narnee prior to BiCon, so we went to Porters English Restaurant in Covent Garden. It is unbelievably good and we recommend it wholeheartedly.

Neo decided my iLap was a good pillow.

Wednesday: was Liz and my third anniversary. So we bought three books, since that's three first anniversary gifts. Then we went to Bella Italia in Duke Street for dinner. Gee she's good.

Thursday: Arkady and I saw this on the way to the shops: a 1:3 scale working washing machine (except it evidently wasn't). Chavcycle for dollies.

Update: Ready now, about to leave the house!

The child's washing machine scares me. People do socialise girls terribly. I bet that poor kid was given a cooker, hoover, ironing board..

Yeah, but you never know. That *could* have been for a boy. My mother bought me action men, racing cars etc-and always said that if she'd had a boy he'd have had kitchens, dollies, whathaveyou. Granted, not mayny parents are like this but again that's one of the things my mother did very very well.
