Welcome to the recently added. Looking over the recent entries should give you a fair sample.

It's interview week. One this morning, one tomorrow morning and one Friday morning. (In Gatwick. Thankfully it's for a contract.) This morning's was with a company I would actually be quite keen to work for and it went very well; I was told they'll be arranging the second interview shortly. GIMME MONEY.

Picasa is proving fatally easy to use. I just put a pile of shots from October 2004 through it. (arkady in a PVC catsuit! disastrid in a Canadian bar in Maiden Lane!) Batch tweaking! Cutting and pasting tweaks on one shot to the others! Auto contrast that mostly doesn't suck! And I found and sorted through those old shots easily because the picture browser is so simple to use as well. Expect more to come.

The cats and ourselves are doing our best Persistence of Memory across the furniture and floors. Why did all the interviews have to come this week?

Good luck with your interviews. I'm amazed anyone is recruiting in mid July. Maybe I should get my arse in gear and make more of an effort to look.
