Today has seen Mercury in retrograde to the point of astral triple backward somersaults. The recent solar flare spreading bogon winds. This morning I spent somewhere over three hours' travel time chasing wild geese in thirty-degree heat after an hilarious administrative cockup over the interview time. I rescheduled but have emailed to cancel, upon reconsideration of the commuting time. The morning milk arrived at 2pm, warm and off. Liz got no sleep, but that's normal. I'll credit it with the wifi point's ethernet cable going dodgy as well, since it's all about communications. And here I was thinking Eris ruled the lives of system and network admins. And I think I have heatstroke and/or dehydration. I think I'll be lying down and resting for a time.

More photos up, this time from B-Movie: Warlords of Atlantis, Friday 09 October 2004. [livejournal.com profile] redshira brought her magical b00bies: shake 'em if ya got 'em! (1.1 MB AVI.) [livejournal.com profile] redcountess attended! And was duly inspected.

Let me just check that one again ...

Update: In further incoming shite, [livejournal.com profile] arkady has had to dash off to Wales to help the family with similar mercurialisms. They themselves are fine, but eep!

It's everywhere.

I arrived at my gyno today, only to discover that my appointment had been cancelled and that my LPN had left for another practice.

It all makes me want to angrily shake my fist at the sky, or something.

Nothing but empathy from across the pond: our air conditioning went last night, and the whole house was averaging about 35 C all night long. I haven't been one for astrology, but I'm getting awfully sick and tired of everything going straight to hell over this past week, and the Mercury retrograde is about as good an explanation as any.

Is that what's happened to my sanity? Because atm, it's AWOL. It's not terribly helpful.

[livejournal.com profile] arkady informed us there was a pretty bad solar flare three days ago as well.

Completely off topic, but I just told [livejournal.com profile] ashe_black who was enquiring about scientology to talk to you..I'm sure it's you with the crusade, yes...?

O, the glory of the [livejournal.com profile] redshira and her magical b00bs!!

I trust that Liz passed the inspection with flying colors ^-^

*sends air-conditioning, sanity, cool washcloths*
