redcountess and I have been melting in the heat and humidity. She does seem to be doing less worse on the new low-GI diet, and I'm having to eat all the stuff she can't. arkady is still in Wales and will probably be there until late next week. I have a job interview next Thursday and hope to hear back from another one tomorrow or early next week. Cross fingers!

Photos like crazy! I've been going through old folders of pics. I've just put up the Voices of Masada CD launch, 22 Oct 2004 (with ridiculously cute pic of _proserpina_) and a Friends of gothicbarbiecat meeting at the Dev, 16 April 2006, the third time I'd ever taken the Ixus 50 out.

I've just linked my original post on the gig. They were in fact pretty good. Second band was unspeakable, third was not too bad but the second had already ruined our evening. That's such a pretty photo of Lizzie, though.

Yeah, he's really really good at doing that. And listen to him when he says that you just need more practise. He somehow turned me from the one who runs round the corner squeaking every time a camera comes out to the biggest photowh0re evar...

It increases general confidence too, so that one doesn't automatically look at photos of oneself and pick problems in them that one never would with photos of someone else, or that others would never pick.
