[livejournal.com profile] redcountess and I have been melting in the heat and humidity. She does seem to be doing less worse on the new low-GI diet, and I'm having to eat all the stuff she can't. [livejournal.com profile] arkady is still in Wales and will probably be there until late next week. I have a job interview next Thursday and hope to hear back from another one tomorrow or early next week. Cross fingers!

Photos like crazy! I've been going through old folders of pics. I've just put up the Voices of Masada CD launch, 22 Oct 2004 (with ridiculously cute pic of [livejournal.com profile] _proserpina_) and a Friends of [livejournal.com profile] gothicbarbiecat meeting at the Dev, 16 April 2006, the third time I'd ever taken the Ixus 50 out.

16th April 2006: [livejournal.com profile] silkyraven, [livejournal.com profile] digitalangel, the best sign ever.

[livejournal.com profile] arkady at the Dev; [livejournal.com profile] _proserpina_ at the gig; one from B-Movie October 2004, [livejournal.com profile] childeric being manly with [livejournal.com profile] nisaba and [livejournal.com profile] kekhmet.

[livejournal.com profile] eyeliner297 is popping over for dinner tomorrow and has a birthday picnic Sunday. w00t!

I can never work out whether I like Voices of Masada's music or am just enraptured by their singer's choice of trousers. I must go to more gigs.

What does this "low-GI diet" attempt to do?

I suspect I may be here longer than that - they're having to do a post-mortem so we don't even have a funeral date yet. I've told [livejournal.com profile] cymrys and [livejournal.com profile] yellowrocket that I'll stay as long as I'm needed.

Awww, thank you. You obviously have a talent, it's one of the very few photos of myself that I actually like.

Yeah, he's really really good at doing that. And listen to him when he says that you just need more practise. He somehow turned me from the one who runs round the corner squeaking every time a camera comes out to the biggest photowh0re evar...

Yup-I've stopped staring intently at every detail of every shot now, too...

You know, I really really ought to get going. I can't decide wheather to get the bus then the Victoria line or the DLR then the bus. I think the tube will be quicker, but hotter...

Agreed. You can even make me look passable - something the mirror never does..

What about pics from when you were in Melbourne? What have you done with them?
