We are moved and technically alive.

Three people and four cats are moved to our humble new abode. Our undying gratitude to _nicolai_, vatine, eyeliner297, secretlondon and ewtikins for their help in moving out and cleaning the place.

The phone doesn't work as yet. We're going to make doubly-doodly-gosh-darned-bloody certain that it's really the line that's dead and not just our cordless phones all having magically died, and we need a fixed handset on hand anyway. We should have intarweb again by Friday.

Abi has been temporarily installed as housegirl and unpacking assistant as I'm at work all day and neither redcountess nor arkady is up to lifting anything at present. Fortunately, she runs on gin.

I am presently revelling in being at work, where I get to sit on my backside eight hours a day and not carry, pack, unpack, clean, file, unfile, brief or debrief anything, although numbering is occasionally involved.

/me thanks you for the Italian beer which is in the fridge. I actually prefer real ale to stella - I just drink stella at bmovie as they don't sell real ale and it's reasonably cheap.

o_0 Er, yes they do! Until it runs out, anyway. They typically have Spitfire and Master Brew. Which are no great shakes, but they're okayish.

If I were to shed some upholstery over this week of boxlugging, I can't say I'd be too upset...
