Intercontinental ballistic tubular bells.

NO WE ARE NOT THERE YET. PIPE DOWN. More show, who knows, there might be a baby tomorrow. I certainly hope so — having taken Friday off because labour started Thursday, I'd better be able to produce a picture of a Winston Churchill impersonator on Tuesday.

Today I have done bugger-all. A few hundred blocks on Wikipedia, wrote a web page for the Cabal. I got mothered. Lots of bad post-punk. I am tolerating [livejournal.com profile] arkady playing "Tubular Bells" and am distraught that Freda is kicking in time with it. I suppose it takes kids a while to distinguish musicianship from music. [livejournal.com profile] redcountess is down the Pembury Tavern with the gamer geeks.

I have been asked to put a nicer picture on my Wikipedia user page. I need one where I am looking beatific. Suggestions welcomed.

My offer to capture your soul still stands.

I'd say that if you want one where you look beatific, get someone to point a camera at you when Freda finally emerges.

Of course, it's 50:50 on beatific or shit scared.

Oh I still vote for Freda turning up on a bank holiday. Let's hope it's this one!

Are you sure there really is a baby in there?

Heh. He's seen the scans, felt her kicking, and heard her heartbeat for the first time on his birthday. I'd say he's had ample evidence that Freda most certainly exists. :-)

Ugh I wish there was something I could do!

I feel like a pacing person in the hospital or something to that effect.

Play Rachmaninoff. That will help encourage Freda out!

Oh, yes. Especially the piano concertos 1 or 2, those really rock. No-one can not get up, get out, get doing with those playing.

Also, Vivaldi's Four Seasons are nice. All that rain and thunder is very inspiring.

Rachmaninov, eh? *checks monster pile of classical CDs* Ah yes... "Essential Rachmaninov: over 2½ hours of his greatest masterpieces". Double CD, starting with Piano Concerto no.2. OK, I'll stick this on repeat and see what happens after a few hours of that!

Well, alright, I'll be quiet and sit still.

I don't want to make you turn the car around.

If it helps, mine were both long prodromal labours, too. But, eventually, after a lot of swearing and yelling, I got babies.

And I only tried to break Chris's hand once.
