A quiet weekend in being domestic and houseworky. arkady and redcountess have been going great guns organising selling our lives off on eBay and being fabulously productive — just giving A a large flat surface to do sewing on was enough to get her going. I've just put up a long-awaited shelf and am cursing the missing screws for the braces. (What size self-tapping screws do the holes in the back of an Ikea Journalist shelf take?) Freda has a new front tooth and is intermittently rather unhappy about it.

Trying and failing to catch up on LJ. If you're wondering why on earth I haven't responded to something you've posted, ping me 'cos I almost certainly haven't seen it.

Apparently I was really miserable and grouchy when I was teething - the only thing that would appease me was an incredibly annoying rattling teething ring, so it was lose/lose for my parents...
