Yep. Everything on Wikipedia needs to be under a proper free content licence, with an incredibly narrow set of exceptions. Wikipedia-only permission isn't good enough.

We've all done dumb things when we were younger, as Paul Kelly has noted in the past. If ever there was a candidate for someone having their account reactivated (after they get their Net access back), this student ought to be at the top of the list.

I think (although I don't have time to check) that it was originally released under the GFDL and people objected as the kid who was the author probably hadn't given permission and it wasn't up to the school to license it like that. School then changed license to wikipedia only (as it's addressed to wikipedia), which is a clearer deletion case.

Still their IT people seem cool. I wonder if the new york northern easterm school people use linux ;)
