  • Julian Assange from Wikileaks was sysadmin for this site for many years and showed an adamantium spine defending it. I'm proud to be associated with him in any way.

  • Job title of the week. Oh, it's to reduce them? Tch.

Freda just said "Mama"!

Then she said "Mamamamamamamamamamama" and then "lublublublublublublublublub" — but still! It was quite clear!

At least it wasn't "fuck," "sodomy" or "goatse."

Not clubbing tonight as I'm too frazzled from family life with defective electricity. We got an electrician around on a "recover money from landlord" basis ('cos his pet electrician was being flaky) and he said the light fitting had just come loose, but did do a full writeup of work that would legally need doing before June (earth strap should be 16mm not 6mm, replace fuse box with earth leakage detecting circuit breaker board, etc.). £65 to recover. We're now quietly enjoying family life with working lights.

*splorf* And there goes my mouthful of tea...! [livejournal.com profile] wyrdrune says that "Nice boots" would have been appropriate for a goth baby's first words, too ;)

[livejournal.com profile] sinboy just did a hilarious imitation of a toddler running around shouting "GOATSE GOATSE GOATSE!".

I just got the news of a friend's death, and I very much appreciate the reminder in this post that sorrow is always balanced out in the end.

As long as they don't let her grow up to be a sysadmin.

Hey, mine was "clock" too - there was a big pendulum wall clock at my grandmother's house that I was fascinated by.
