Pleasant *pint* or three at BU last night, though I was utterly buggered in the not nearly as fun metaphorical sense and left at nine. Ate lots of pndc's chili chocolate and chocolate-coated coffee beans.

rufus arrives to visit next week and is MINE all MINE for a day. So there. Then I spend Easter and the following week on call.

Been waiting for the iPlayer stuff. Although I should probably just get TubeStick (http://www.equinux.com/us/products/tubestick/index.html) and have done with it.

It's a nice idea, and the Flash interface is mostly not horrible and the developers are actually aware of Gnash and want to get it working on that. The p2p app is a hilarious disaster.

... which reminds me; you may remember I bought a bar of the chili chocolate when I was down before Christmas? I'm not sure whether I lucked out and got one from a good batch, but it turned out to be approximately eleventy billion times stronger than previous samples. I mean, well beyond "muttered curse" territory and into "HOLY HELL MY HEAD IS ON FIRE!".

Good stuff. I shall have to free it from its lead-lined box at the weekend and enjoy some more.
