I can't say there's much on CBeebies I'd term "toxic compost", though Teletubbies, Waybuloo and In The Night Garden get close. I suppose it helps that (a) she can watch it via Internet on that Cinema Display (b) we hate telly and don't watch it at all. Enough of it is educational to have actually influenced her, e.g. she draws in the style of Squiglet - who annoys the hell out of me but has proven actually helpful in her development. So I measure kids' shows by how they affect the toddler, not whether I want to put a hammer through the screen. Unless they're really irritating. It's a tricky one.
