First to the Dev, to find zoo_music_girl and lhiss (I think) still there from the afternoon (and zotz just pouring himself out the door). Long music-geek and Whitby photo chat with Flavio. (If Flavio ever asks to take a picture of you, say yes. He's good enough to take pics of me that don't suck.) I still left more vinyl behind when I moved to the UK than he did. Ha.

Went in via the top floor, where Whitehouse had been playing (and I missed them AGAIN, dammit). Some hideous fucking chopped-up electronic noise was playing; presumably William Bennett's DJing. "This is fucking torture music!" "Yeah, Whitehouse sound like that except not as accessible." (I still recommend them as one of the finest headcleaners available.) Happy to see caspervonb was still in town. Hung out with Mog and markeris a bit. Danced our little socks off.

Home by the night bus, which is enough to douse almost any good night - an hour fucking around on glacially slow public transport, standing all the way with a pile of chatty drunks, then five minutes in the pouring rain. I hate the fucking suburbs.
