This week is fired and it's only Tuesday. I spent literally all day wrestling a washing machine to small pieces then out to the kerb. Freda has come down with parvovirus, which is JUST WHAT WE NEEDED in housemoving week.

The house we thought we had? Fell through. Another agent moved tenants in without asking and the landlady has actually called the police on the agents. The tenants have acted in good faith so can't be turned out in the street (it's hard enough evicting people who are totally and obviously in the wrong), so we've got a place in the next street. Which is £50/mo more but really remarkably nicer. No chickens counted until hatched, though.

We have prospects of a car for Thursday (*pint* to vampwillow!), but could probably do with any more cars that are available this week or next week. Anyone! Wheels! Please!
