This weekend, I will be visiting Cambridge for simonb's vodka demolition party. Current plans are to show up late Saturday morning or early afternoon, wander around with shekhmet, probably meet some of the Cambridge goths (that's at least you, zotz and kboyd) later on (suitable pub?), then make our way to Chez BOFH. Addled remains to return some time Sunday. Email me if you don't have my phone number or I don't have yours.

Here's to shekhmet's cloves order having arrived by then ...

Lots achieved today - sent tons o' cash to redcountess (NatWest Relay costs £10 for up to £2000, five working days), posted jezebel_z's birthday card (at least it'll arrive before the next birthday), did some work at work, bought bleach, toner mousse and stockings, remembered to eat lunch ...

Fans of Flem Comics will be interested to know that, although the Jay and Jack storyline is finished, Flem II (single panels) is active once more, as of 23rd January. You can also read the author's journal at flemco.

Was pissed off when I joined LJ that my Proper Name was taken.

I'm certainly up for pubbery, though will probably not be drinking - it's the next thing on my 'to give up' list.

More of a concern is suitable swimwear for the spa. Tiny blue and yellow Speedos just don't suit the image, dahlink; I have two days to find something that will benefit from lace fringing ...
