I may not be at Slimes tonight after all - I am having a near-crippling Bad Back Day and can barely walk. Fuck.

However, I do plan to be at the Devonshire Arms in about an hour. Alli did indeed score the Dev bar job. w00t!

Update, 12:24am: Fourth - allezbleu. Okay, maybe third Australian.

Dev mettul night is much as any night. The music was candy pop metal, but the people were the same and the music wasn't deafening. Drinks with Ali and her friend Jess, and Alli on the bar from nine. The occasional crippling shot of pain. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I live in Amsterdam now. There are billboards saying I can fly to London for €29. I'd like to do that and worry your housemates a bit. What do you reckon?

Sorry you didn't make it to slimes. I was going to go and hang out at radio patapou, Amsterdam's oldest pirate radio station, last night, or maybe go to some goth club or something (I can't seem to shake these goths... they're the only people I've found in this town who are at least halfway interesting and not too pretentious... and they're goths!), but I ended up on the 'phone all night with hopeforyou—I love how it's cheaper for me to ring California from here than it is for Californians to ring within their own state...

I'll write more useless trivia later.

If all goes to plan (fingers crossed), ladylilith will be camping out in my room from late October for a number of weeks. But yes, it's a damn fine idea :-)

That certainly sounds like something to look forward to. Is she bringing the cute kitty in her userpic collection along? You know how much the English and Australian quarantine people like that sort of thing!

You know, I turn 30 on the 11th of that month and I have nobody I've known for very long to celebrate it. Do you reckon a Friday night out on the town in London would be a suitable way to celebrate?
