reddragdivaFriday: We made our way to B-Movie and I got the frock on. B-Movie was
insanely hot (the heating system had apparently blown
up and couldn't be switched off - eek!) and crowded (almost full by ten),

redcountess, arkady and I hid out. I had an UNBELIEVABLY
GOOD TIME. Stole lots of souls with arkady's camera. Kissed
beautiful girls and boys. Many a *pint* - courtesy ali_anarres, jhaelan, zoo_music_girl, _nicolai_ and did you get me one too, damerell? The skirt was a major hit (the stockings didn't get laddered and I don't think my arse is actually bruised, but ...) and I think I've
found my outfit for the rest of this summer. Night bus home was still a
bugger (and King's Cross remains a special and beautiful place), but damn we had a good time. Hello to the luvverly daneel_olivaw and flickgc.
Saturday: Hoegaarden is fatal to your morning after. We woke up around
two, arkady and I did a small shop at Pikeymart Asda,
then we all went back down the Goose for scrabble with teqkiller ("You'll be sorry when I'm thin and beautiful!"), muftak and sparklielizard. I think
Liz has just found another game she has to buy.
Sunday: A quiet day in of setting up FreeBSD 4.8-RELEASE on Liz's second hard drive. The couple that geeks together, er, geeks together. It's nearly working, just need to fix the boot loader and X - it has Internet, of course. Next will come the process of slowly moving from Windows to BSD, one app at a time. (She already browses and reads mail in Mozilla and edits pictures in the Gimp - dig the icon collection.)
I appear to have a sore throat. It had better be gone by Friday! By Wednesday by preference! How's the epidemiology of B-Movie? Anyone else find themselves coming down with something?
