There's also a 300x300 version (411KB), but it tends to induce vertigo.

I told the Gimp to put 300ms between frames, but it doesn't seem to have set it correctly; a fixed version would be most welcome. (Open-source tools that get this right?)

w31rd sh1t! I'm using Gimp 1.2.4, compiled from ports on this here FreeBSD 4.6.2 box. I created the five-layer image, saved as GIF and picked the option to 'Save as Animation' and set the 'Delay between Frames where Unspecified' to 300ms. In fact, I just opened my image and that's what it says. Huh??

Your frames are called Frame n (100ms) (combine), which I think Gimp uses as a hint to the gif exporter that has a higher precendence than the setting on the menu. Did you try exporting them at 100ms first?

Possibly. I changed the layer names in mine from (100ms) to (300ms) and the GIF is now timing correctly.

THAT IS THE MOST BLOODY RIDICULOUS THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. IT IGNORES YOU TELLING IT WHAT TIMING TO USE BECAUSE THERE'S A BIT OF TEXT IN A LABEL SOMEWHERE ELSE? FUCK ME!

I suppose it makes a small amount of sense, but not as much as it should.
