Fresh new hell at work: the SDLT drive has been put into active service at last, as of last night's backup. The esteemed fellow admin was here until one in the morning tweaking server room feng shui. He showed up today around one in the afternoon, looking about thirty percent not dead. He has been quite subdued today.
The new boss is considerably more clued than the old one and actually has the slightest idea what I do for a living. This means I do more actual work, but, on balance, is a considerable improvement.
Two Sudafed in the morning, one around 11am and a fourth one at 1pm, and my nose is still dripping like a tap. Pollen count: one frooglepoopillion.
Tonight: a date with

Veloria and visit the rats and family.
